1. Product Role
Supplemental advisory operational aid.
Pondus provides node-derived readings, alerts, logs, maps, dashboards, reports, and notifications to support trained operator and fleet-manager awareness. The Pondus product family includes Pondus TiltNode for body roll/incline, Pondus OutNode for outrigger pressure, Pondus WindNode for anemometer data, and Pondus BoomNode as the master advisory system label for the nodes, iPhone/iPad workflow, and management plane. Pondus is not a safety-rated control system, machine governor, automatic overload-prevention device, emergency-stop device, outrigger control, brake, shutdown system, lockout system, or replacement for any legally required safety device.
2. Non-Interference
No machine control.
Pondus does not connect to, command, override, interrupt, inhibit, stop, brake, derate, shut down, actuate, or modify any truck, pump, boom, outrigger, PTO, hydraulic system, engine, OEM controller, CAN bus, PLC, emergency-stop, lockout, or safety circuit unless Pondus gives a separate written statement signed by an authorized officer.
3. User Responsibility
Trained people remain responsible.
You remain responsible for safe operation, jobsite procedures, competent-person judgment, ground-condition assessment, inspections, outrigger setup, OEM manuals, load charts, training, maintenance, applicable law, and stopping work whenever conditions require it. Pondus information is advisory and is not proof that equipment is safe to operate.
4. Detection Limits
Pondus does not detect every unsafe condition.
Unless the appropriate node is installed, configured, and working, Pondus does not measure actual load weight, individual outrigger pressure, wind at the boom tip, body roll/incline, soil bearing capacity, underground voids, cribbing strength, pad condition, power-line clearance, hydraulic integrity, boom structural condition, pipeline or hose condition, or every tip-over or instability mode.
5. Data Reliability
Readings depend on setup and connectivity.
Pondus readings may be delayed, unavailable, inaccurate, incomplete, or affected by sensor placement, mounting, calibration/reference capture, sensor health, battery state, phone state, wireless connection, app configuration, environmental conditions, user input, or truck/operator assignment data. Missing, stale, abnormal, or inconsistent data must be treated as a reason to follow normal company and OEM safety procedures.
6. Field Testing
Test use must not change operating authority.
If you test Pondus, you agree that testing is for evaluation of supplemental monitoring and fleet visibility only. You will not rely on Pondus as the primary basis for operating, continuing, stopping, lifting, pumping, booming, deploying outriggers, or declaring equipment safe. You will not represent Pondus as certified for machine safety control unless Pondus has separately provided that certification in writing.
7. Fleet Data and Review
Operational records support review.
Pondus may record operator/truck assignment, acknowledgements, telemetry snapshots, alert events, location, equipment identifiers, app version, firmware version, and manager-subscription requests. These records support field testing, fleet review, coaching, troubleshooting, product improvement, compliance evidence, and customer support. Fleet dashboards, maps, alerts, and reports are not live machine-control systems, dispatch authority, or proof that equipment is safe to operate.
